Adventures!

Leaves are falling, the air is crisp and sweet, and the school year is in full swing. So far we have picked apples and searched for pumpkins. We have picked up trash on the train tracks across the street, sketched our house and fields of grass and flowers on hot sunny days. We have cozied up in the living room and read book after wonderful book. School goes with us! Our books have gone to parks, to beaches, to Gramma's house and... to South Carolina, Wisconsin, Missouri and Florida! We've been homeschoolers since Ryan was in "preschool", but this is the first year that I've felt this is REALLY for real now! First grade! The Lord has consitently shown me how He is at work even in our home school. He provides us with amazing little gifts throughout our day, each and every day. Sometimes it is in direct correlation with a topic we are studying. Sometimes it is not, but it is always a blessing. Adventures in our Father's World!
