His Word in my Heart

In January I committed to memorizing 2 verses a month for 2009. I keep them in a note card sprial that has gone many places with me including to Alivia's birth! I'd like to keep electronic record of these verses and I'll begin here. The following verses were chosen while I was preparing for the birth of Alivia. I needed His encouraging words to gaurd me against the "fear of natural birth" that is ingrained in the women of this culture and to help me to trust that He perfectly created my body to birth our baby. I should trust that He knew what He was doing!!! :)

January
Isaiah 30:21
Whether you turn to the right
or to the left,
your ears will hear a voice
behind you saying,
"This is the way;
walk in it."
Philippians 4:8
Finally, brothers, whatever is true,

    BTW: David Nevue is one of my favorite musicians...so soothing.
